Take Cover Tour 2026

Following their 2023-2024 "Everything or Nothing at All" North America stadium tour, Foo Fighters are launching their Take Cover Tour 2026 celebrating the release of their 30th Anniversary edition of their self-titled debut album on mint-colored vinyl and bonus live tracks.

The tour will take place in the United States and Canada beginning on Aug. 4 at Rogers Stadium in Toronto and concluding on Sept. 22 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The tour is expected to feature high-production visual effects, two video screens and fireworks similar to those used during their most recent successful Asian tour.

Dave Grohl described the 2026 tour as a "rock and roll marathon" due to the long set lists that will blend classic songs such as "Learn to Fly" with newer hits including "Today's Song." The tour will also feature eco-friendly merchandise.

Foo Fighters

Formed in 1994 from the ashes of Nirvana, Foo Fighters released their self-titled debut, which featured Dave Grohl playing all of the instruments himself. After releasing five albums, Foo Fighters won their first of 15 Grammys for the album The Colour and the Shape in 1997.

The album would go on to become diamond certified. The album had several big hits, including the number three alternative hit "Everlong," which Dave Grohl said is his favorite song he has written. Another hit was "Learn to Fly," which was the band's first Top 40 hot 100 single and earned the band their first Grammy Award. They followed up with the number 18 Hot 100 single "Best of You" which was later covered by Prince at the Super Bowl. The album also featured the number one post-punk rock single "Monkey Wrench" and the Howard Stern promoted radio hit "My Hero."

Queens of the Stone Age

Josh Homme formed Queens of the Stone Age in 1996 as a rotating desert-rock collective out of the ashes of the stoner band Kyuss. Homme coined the phrase "Heavy Enough for the Boys, Sweet Enough for the Girls" as a way to describe the bands music, which combines bluesy riffs with raunchy wit across seven albums.

Songs for the Deaf is often cited as the band's best work, and was a huge commercial success in the UK, where it peaked at number 1. The album features the hypnotic single "No One Knows," which was the band's biggest single to date and helped to define the genre. The album also features other notable singles, such as "Go with the Flow," which reached number 10 on the UK charts, "Little Sister," which was a number one alternative single with a Zeppelin-boogie vibe, and "Feel Good Hit of the Summer," which was a joke single about taking drugs and became a crowd favorite when performed live.

Mannequin Pussy

Philadelphia-based Mannequin Pussy is a punk duo formed in 2010 by Marisa "Missy" Dabice (vocals/guitar) and Athanasios Paul (drums), who were friends since elementary school. The group evolved into a four-piece, furious machine in 2015, reclaiming the name for themselves and delivering angry, yet vulnerable, indie-punk with a feminist edge and tender cracks. After signing with Epitaph Records in 2019, Patience expressed Dabice's cathartic emotional unraveling, while I Got Heaven (2024) finds her snarling with resilient hooks, invoking divine intervention.

Some highlights from their discography include "Romantic" (2016), which Rolling Stone chose as its #14 song of the year, for its visceral, raw power; "Drunk II" (2019), a hauntingly emotional indie-bar-drama with a knockout video; "I Got Heaven" (2024), a galvanizing opener with a loud-and-clear chorus; "Loud Bark" (2024), a shared hardcore ripper with Regisford; "Who You Are" (from Patience), a quiet-to-exploding display of endurance; "OK? OK! OK? OK!" (2024), a frantic vocal explosion; "Emotional High" (from Romantic), a vicious, toxic-relationship takedown; "To Lose You" (from Patience), a breakup wail with driving guitars; and "Nothing Like" (2024), a melodic, snarling, introspective single.

Nissan Stadium

Nissan Stadium, located on the Cumberland River's eastern bank, opened on Aug. 27, 1999, as the venue for a Tennessee Titans preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons. Originally known as Adelphia Coliseum, the facility changed hands to LP Field in 2006. Today, it bears the name of Nissan, which acquired the naming rights in 2015 and began its 20-year partnership with the team.

Home to the Titans, who boast a 112-87 (.563%) record at the venue, and with a capacity of 69,143 (expandable to accommodate larger crowds), it is an NFL giant, providing spectacular views of the city's skyline, dual Daktronics video boards, 175 luxury suites and 12,000 club seats. This behemoth has also hosted the 2019 NFL Draft, CMA Fest (Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan), and the TransPerfect Music City Bowl. After swapping its field surface from Matrix Helix to Matrix Helix Turf in 2023 for safety reasons, it has been cooled by the Nashville District Energy System, and has provided beautiful views of the river for fans attending pre-game tailgate events.
